Supported entirely by posts, a free-standing canopy works where wall attachment isn’t possible or where the covered route needs to sit independently – over a connector path, a detached walkway or a service route between buildings. Wall Attached + Free-Standing Canopy:
This combined configuration extends covered walkway coverage over longer runs by using both wall-attached and freestanding sections in sequence. It’s the strongest option for larger commercial walkway canopy systems where the pedestrian route continues beyond a single entry point or façade line.
